Wesley Williams, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Wesley Williams grew up in a small rural town in East Texas and figured out fairly quickly that he wanted to work around animals and eventually become a Veterinarian. He attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Animal Science in 2004 and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. After graduating from Veterinary School, he moved to Dallas and worked at the same hospital for 13 years. He enjoys the variety of cases that come through the door every day and has a special interest in preventative medicine, client education, pain management, and dermatology. He appreciates that at AMC McKinney we are able to offer a full range of medicine and support for you and your pets for anything that may arise. He is also partial to dachshunds and never misses the opportunity to stop and interact with one.

When not at work, Dr. Williams enjoys spending time with his family. Most evenings and weekends he can be found shuttling his kids around to music lessons, sports practices, and any other events they participate in. In his “free” time he can be found back in East Texas on his family’s farm where there is no shortage of fishing ponds, cow work, and beautiful sunsets.

His current pets include 2 Jersey cows named Milkshake and Dandelion and a baby calf named Dumbo - all named by his kids.

Dr. Williams looks forward to seeing you and your pets at your next visit!
